Our Story
Originally built circa 1882 by local residents, The Chapel at Dragonfly Farms — then known as Broomfield Church — has served as a community center, place of worship, and schoolhouse. The Cottage was built circa 1923 and hosted interim pastors.
Re-established as a wedding and special events venue, The Chapel preserves the soul of its origins — original floors, walls, two standing columns, and hand-hewn wood trim throughout — now crowned with a gleaming copper roof that catches the Ozark light.
Anchoring the rich and luscious Ozark National Forest, this picturesque venue is surrounded by dreamy views of the nearby mountains, foliage, and wildlife. It's not uncommon for wild deer to wander through the fields as vows are exchanged.
Our ownership and restoration began in 2017, and it has been a true labour of love. We believe every couple deserves an extraordinary experience, and we offer packages to fit every vision and every budget.
Our Property
Every rental includes private access to the entire property, connected by meandering fairytale stone pathways.
Up to 100 seated
Quaint, charming, and magical. The Chapel's original wood frame exudes warmth with vintage folding chairs, antique artwork, one-of-a-kind fixtures, and a 1904 upright piano.
Up to 125 seated
Open-air with a vaulted wood-beamed ceiling, stone patio, Edison bulb cafe lights, high-velocity fans, radiant heaters, and optional vinyl sidewalls for year-round comfort and weather protection.
Up to 150 seated
Ancient pines surround this outdoor ceremony space featuring custom stone benches, a crystal-inlaid marriage circle with heart-shaped stone, and a custom stone arch for exchanging vows.
Bridal party prep
Built circa 1923, the Cottage offers a private and elegant getting-ready space for the bridal party, exuding a peaceful atmosphere before the big moment.
Groom's party prep
A dedicated space for the groom and groomsmen to relax and prepare, separate from the bridal party, ensuring everyone has their own comfortable retreat.
Intimate ceremonies
An intimate outdoor structure perfect for smaller ceremonies, surrounded by the natural fauna and foliage of the Ozark landscape.

Every rental includes full access to our five acres, along with banquet tables, chairs, wireless speaker system, day-of concierge, gift registry, studio design appointment, and use of The Groom's Loft and The Bridal Cottage.

All-Inclusive

8 hours of access. Professional on-site day-of event producer and coordinator. Processional coordinator for rehearsal and ceremony. Vendor coordination on event day. Full setup, breakdown, and cleanup.
Choice of ceremony location: Chapel, Pavilion, Gazebo, or Grove. Choice of reception location. Scheduled ceremony rehearsal. Engagement or bridal photo session access. Sweetheart or wedding party table.
Full-service reception meal: choice of barbecue, Italian, taco, or catfish cuisine. Non-alcoholic beverage service with sweet tea, unsweet tea, lemonade, and water. Cake-cutting services.
Custom-baked wedding cake displayed on an antique metal cocktail table. Fresh florals: 1 bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 groom boutonniere, 3 groomsman boutonnieres.
Gold- or silver-rimmed disposable dinnerware set. Reception table centerpieces: choice of wooden discs + candles, topiaries + candles, or eucalyptus garland. Guest book on antique tea cart. Bride's heart chair and groom's ladder back chair. Indoor + outdoor speaker system. 125" projection system.
Sensational send-off with 20" sparklers or bubbles. Full clean-up and trash removal. Everything handled so you and your guests simply enjoy the celebration.
The Design Studio
Every couple receives a complimentary design studio appointment — included with every rental.
Our on-site Design Studio houses a curated collection of décor, furniture, tableware, linens, lighting, and finishing touches — all available to rent directly from us. No hauling rentals from multiple different vendors! No guessing what works in the space!

Questions
A $500 (Elopement or DIY) or $1,000 (Inclusive) non-refundable deposit secures your date and goes toward your full balance. 50% of the remaining balance is due 180 days prior; the final balance is due 60 days prior. We welcome payment plans!
Every package includes a day-of concierge. We also offer day-of coordination services à la carte. If selected, this coordinator will be your main point of contact on event day. The Simply Elegant Inclusive includes a full professional event producer and processional coordinator.
You are free to use any vendor you wish. When selecting one of our all-inclusive options, we utilize our preferred vendors. We welcome caterers and have a caterer's prep kitchen available for use on your event day.
Our ideal indoor capacity is 100 for ceremony and/or reception. Outdoor capacity is 150 for the Ceremony Grove. To accommodate weather contingency, we recommend groups of 125 or less. Both The Chapel and The Pavilion serve as weather-protected spaces.
Yes! The Chapel offers a gorgeous indoor ceremony. The Pavilion with its vaulted ceiling and The Ceremony Grove both offer natural outdoor settings. The Gazebo provides an intimate option. Both The Chapel and The Pavilion can be used for seated receptions.
Little to no decorating is needed for indoor or outdoor ceremonies. The interior of The Chapel is tastefully elegant. Seasonal plants adorn the grounds and buildings year-round. The venue's charm speaks for itself.
Yes. We feature two handicap-accessible restrooms, stone pathways connecting the entire property, and dedicated drive-up accessibility for loading/unloading.
We're at 3588 Broomfield Road, Dover, AR 72837 — just 17 miles north of Russellville off AR-7. Close to everything, yet a world away. Our property borders the Ozark National Forest on its eastern edge, nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains.
